In 1989, Laurie Morrow got her husband Bill, a hunting dog. He named her Mehagian's Katie Bar The Door, and had great fun training and handling her to her Senior Hunter title.




.... While Laurie handled the conformation and obedience.
Now she is CH MEHAGIAN'S KATIE BAR THE DOOR, CDX, SH, VC, CGC.



Katie finished her CDX title at 11 1/2 years old!
Her reward was a romp on the beach!



When Laurie's last Sheltie died in 1992, we bought
a male puppy for HER to play with.
He was a "Pistol" --- and LOVED birds.
Here is Sun-Up Magnum 44 at 5 months pointing 
his FIRST wild bird which Bill flushed and shot, and the puppy retrieved to hand!




At 6 mos. old, he quickly finished his conformation championship, and won all his Puppy and Derby points in the field - as well as his Junior Hunter title.



Pistol had such talent, that he deserved a professional field trainer, and was sent to the great Bill Gibbons. Bill said Pistol was "one - in - a - million", and that proved to be true!
In 1996 & 1997, Pistol won the National Vizsla Field Championship. 
Now, he's 2 X NFC, DUAL CH, AMATEUR FIELD CH, SUN-UP MAGNUM 44, Master Hunter.
He is co-owned with Ellis Herz who handled him thruout his illustrious career. "Pistol" retired at age 10 after winning more AKC Field Trials than any Vizsla in history!

"Dancer" earned her agility titles at age 9 -
just look at that smile!
Her puppies are still making their marks in the show ring, performance rings, and at field trials. Carrying on the tradition of the Versatile Vizsla!
We miss them all a lot.
